Love Dog, Beth and the gang just like we would our own family.
December 26, 2007We are all family, let's love and support eachother. God Bless you Dog, Beth and the gang.
Sister Beth, Brother Dog & Family, Please lean to the Lord as much as you can. I know the saying God won't give us anything we can't handle, sometimes always isn't that comforting. Trust me I know. But what you are going through only a true believer in the Lord like you and your family are can overcome these situations. The Love of God flows through all of you. God has enabled you to let His love spill out of you with a tender heart of compassion even when you are not even trying to. I see the Love of God in your eyes, I hear it in your voices, I feel it deep with in my heart that you loved God so much there is no cause to doubt your morals or motivations for they are pure before God and man. From the moment I seen the show I always knew that you all had a thirst for God. You truly all are vessels from God, to be able to do what all of you are doing today.
I am commenting on the Dr Phil show that aired Friday November 09, 2007. On Dr. Phil. I used to be an avid watcher of the Dr. Phil show but I am appalled about the airing on Dog The Bounty Hunter. It amazes me how quickly someone can down an actor, actress, singer, etc, or anyone famous and in the public eye about racism. Especially when it comes to involving their personal life issues. In America we have freedom of speech. Especially in our own home.
I am a Caucasian female age of 39. I do not have one percent of racism in me. I have a friend of 25 years that my parents have adopted into our family who is Afro American. I am proud to call her my sister. Even though she was adopted through love and not legally she is part of me. I also have a God child who is Afro American.
My sister Christine and I sat back and watched the show on that Friday and plainly seen that to me everyone was out to get Dog, because of what he said. I call it an ambush. If it was I or some other citizen of the US nothing would of been said or done about it, due to us being a no body. But since he is famous and an idol to many people, money talks and BS walks. Dog is cut down and thrown out like a rotten piece of meat.
I my self was in a racial situation. I went to a church in our local community that 99 percent of the members were Afro American. During this time I also worked at a local K-Mart in my area. I can’t tell you the amount of times customers came through my check out line and made racial statements to me. “Aren’t you the white girl that goes to such and such church”. Not one customer that came through my line that said that was Caucasian, there were all Afro Americans. Which is wrong but nothing can or will be done because we are nobodies, just normal citizens of the US.
I don’t blame Dog for not showing up on the show. I think things should of been handled in a different manner. Not an AMBUSH! I think that there should of been other races on the show then Afro America giving there opinions also. I have a lot of respect for TD. Jakes and I honor him for being such a Godly man that he is. I also give a lot of credit for the young man who was there from the NWACP, he stood his ground when you asked him about should Dog be taken off of A & E. He told you absolutely not.
My family and I have been through a lot over the last past 4 years. My father was killed from a car accident and then two days later my 17 year old niece was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma bone cancer, with both lungs operated on, multiple tumors through out her body, and left leg above the knee amputation. My niece just recently passed on Sept 19th, 2007. Plus I have been taking care of the my elderly mother, who is end stage renal, multiple strokes with left sided paralysis, diabetes, and heart problems. I take care of her to keep her out of a nursing home.
What I am trying to say is any way you look at it we are all human, and we all have error. That don’t mean we have to judge, ambush, or put down one another for our mistakes. If people would put their effort into helping one another, like Dog and the gang does to help people turn their life around, instead of doing what this world is doing it would be a better place. We need to treat each other as if we were not in the public eye and respect each other privacy. Be if its someone who is famous or not. I look back over the last 4 years of my life and say to my self, if I can change all of this my heart would be free of hurt, but unfortunately I can’t. We have to go on and make America what America should be. I don’t know about you but in faith we are all brother’s and sister’s be of any color or race. When it all comes down to it we are all family. No matter what we do or say, if we are famous or not there is only one person who can judge us officially and that is Jesus Christ Him self and He is the one we only have to anser too.
Do I agree with Dog, maybe it was wrong but since it was said in his own home. I feel it is none of our business. I will not judge him. If he would of said it during an interview, or on a taping of Dog The Bounty Hunter. Then I can see we make a big issue out of it. Dog and his family is my family and always will be.
Thank you, Happy New Year, Blessings to all
